Meet and Read with the Author of the Children's Book "Dans les souliers d'Amédée" Published by Éditions Fonfon.
Amédée is no ordinary cobbler. Every day, he repairs tons of shoes. But a certain magic happens at night: all he needs to do is put on a pair of shoes to be transported to different worlds and, through his journeys, discover various realities. A story that encourages children to put themselves in others' shoes.
"The rhythmic writing, enhanced by a skillful use of rhyme, provides genuine reading pleasure, complemented by the gentle quality of Éléna Comte's illustrations." - Le Devoir
Author:
Véronique Lambert has a colorful journey that's difficult to describe as linear. After completing her master's degree in communication, unsure of what she wanted to do, she left Quebec to travel. This break allowed her to finally realize what she had always known but never believed: she was a writer. From that moment on, she officially embraced the title and began writing. She lived in Australia for several years, where she worked in the restaurant industry and completed yoga teacher training. Now back in her home province, she dedicates her time to writing, teaching French to adult immigrants, and sharing her passion for yoga. Dans les souliers d'Amédée, published by Fonfon, is her first children's book.
