Dance workshops for the whole family, where participants learn steps that have passed through the history of the land. A lively encounter between Indigenous and non-Indigenous traditions to share together.

For one afternoon, dance becomes a shared language across generations and cultures. These two family workshops, led by Abenaki choreographers Lysane and Nicole O'Bomsawin, along with non-Indigenous choreographer Maude Lecours, invite participants to revisit dance steps that have echoed across the Brome-Missisquoi territory throughout history. Each movement carries the memory of those who danced before us, while creating a space for connection and transmission. A joyful, unifying experience where families are invited to learn, have fun, and leave their own steps as part of a living memory.

For the whole family.

With:
Maude Lecours, choreographer
Lysanne O'Bomsawin, choreographer
Nicole O'Bomsawin, choreographer

Presented by D'arts et de rêves in Sutton, in partnership with the Théâtre de Lac-Brome and the Court-Circuit Festival.
