Before the James Gelfand & Morgan Moore concert, Théâtre de Lac-Brome presents a free 20-minute mini-concert in the foyer at 7:00 p.m. Doors to the hall will open at 7:45 p.m.
Julian Shively, a sensitive and virtuosic pianist and cellist, will be featured. Holding a double degree in piano and cello from McGill University, he has performed on stages across Canada, the United States, Western Europe, China, and the Bahamas. His musical approach combines the discipline of classical training with a strong affinity for jazz.
For this performance, he will interpret classic jazz standards, offering the audience a refined and welcoming introduction to the evening. This initiative is part of a pre-concert recital series that highlights emerging virtuosos and encourages the discovery of new talent.
Through this series, Théâtre de Lac-Brome reaffirms its commitment to artistic development and audience growth by offering complementary experiences that enrich the evening and strengthen the connection between the stage and the community.
