Heart of Gold is a show that pays tribute to the work of Neil Young, a defining figure of North American folk and rock music. Born during the pandemic, the project brings together four seasoned musicians from Lévis: Daniel Lizotte (guitar, harmonica, vocals), Denis Viel (pedal steel, dobro, accordion, vocals), Francis Leblond (bass, vocals), and Michel Roy (drums, vocals).
The group revisits Neil Young's vast repertoire with sensitivity, focusing on his acoustic songs while offering stripped-down versions of some of his more electric pieces.
From Heart of Gold to Harvest Moon, including Comes a Time and Southern Man, the performance offers a warm and sincere tribute.
