Boogát returns with a new album and show ready for touring in 2024 and beyond.
Entitled Del Horizonte (from the expression "beyond the horizon"), the new live experience takes the festive side of his already engaging performances even further. The new stage setup includes video projections that amplify the interactivity of the show with a staging that fortifies a universal message of love, communion and acceptance. Boogat addresses the themes of a changing Quebec, its inevitable immigration, the importance of keeping the spirit of rebellion alive as well as rallying with the decolonial movement already underway.
Performed entirely in Spanish, with musicians combining traditional and digital instruments, the show is available in as either a quintet or trio. Del Horizonte will make you dance as much as it will make you think – fiesta guaranteed!
