Meet and reading with the author of the children's book In Amédée's Shoes, published by Fonfon Editions.
Amédée is no ordinary cobbler. Every day, he repairs countless pairs of shoes. But at night, a certain magic happens: all he has to do is put on a pair of shoes, and he's transported to different worlds. Through his journeys, he discovers various realities. This story encourages children to put themselves in others' shoes.
"The rhythmic writing, skillfully using rhyme, offers real reading pleasure, enhanced by the gentle touch of Éléna Comte's illustrations." - Le Devoir
Author:
Véronique Lambert has had an eclectic journey, difficult to describe as linear. After completing her master's degree in communication, uncertain about what she wanted to do, she left Quebec to travel. This break allowed her to finally understand what she had always known, but never believed: she was a writer. From then on, she claimed the title and began writing. She lived for several years in Australia, where she worked in hospitality and completed yoga teacher training. Today, back in her native province, she dedicates her time to writing, teaching French to adult immigrants, and sharing her passion for yoga. In Amédée's Shoes, published by Fonfon, is her first children's book.
