"Plays that 'touch sensitive strings' and tackle themes that are not 'necessarily easy' using humor, as Voie de contournement does, particularly interest Marc-André Thibault. He is the one who has translated Ring Road by Anita Vettesse into French for the first time and also directs it.
'Both characters are endearing at various moments in the play; both have beautiful qualities and well-acknowledged flaws,' he continues. 'A character who is just kind or mean is not interesting to watch. Seeing their flaws and desires that drive them to lie because they have an impulse, I find that lively. It's much more human.'" - Metro
