Coming to Canada in Lac-Brome specifically for this concert, we are very proud to welcome this internationally renowned musician in a program designed by Serhiy Salov.
One of Singapore's first homegrown soloists, Lee-Chin's gold medal victory in the 1994 Henryk Szeryng International Violin Competition solidified her career on the international music stage. Her performances have been broadcast on BBC World News, China Central TV, America's CBS, National Public Radio, and Singapore's MediaCorp. Today, she works all over the world from China's Beijing Central Conservatory of Music, Soochow University School of Music, Chicago Institute of Music, to the Singapore National Youth Orchestra and as violin professor at the College of Charleston.

Serhiy Salov, piano
An exceptional pianist, dazzles with his virtuosity and sensitivity. Winner of several international awards, he expands his repertoire through bold transcriptions of symphonic works for solo piano. Salov, originally from Ukraine, settled in Canada after winning the Montreal International Music Competition in 2004. His career, marked by solo performances and collaborations with prestigious orchestras worldwide, reflects his dedication to the art of piano.

Thomas Chartré, cello
A passionate cellist, shines on stages across North America, Europe, and Asia as a soloist and chamber musician. Having performed with prestigious orchestras and at renowned festivals, he notably interpreted Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in front of 10,000 singers at the Suntory 10,000 Freude. A recipient of numerous awards, he is recognized for his exceptional playing. In 2016, CBC included him in their list of 30 hot Canadian classical musicians under 30.
