An Evening Dedicated to Indigenous Literature from the Innu Nation
With the presence of: Ghislain Picard (Pessamit), Mellissa Mollen-Dupuis (Ekuanitshit), and Soleil Launière (Mashteuiatsh).
Indigenous Craft Workshop with Bérénice Mollen-Dupuis.
After dissecting anger and lust, Geneviève Morand and Natalie-Ann Roy continue their unapologetic and boldly feminist reinterpretation of the seven deadly sins. In this choral work, somewhere between two burnouts, the gathered authors denounce everything that exhausts them and ask: who, in this world, truly has the right to rest? Between toxic work environments and the obsession with beauty, between mental load, sexism, poverty, ruthless capitalism, domestic violence, and a burning planet, must we also find time to meditate? No. We demand the right not to reach our full potential. And to stay in bed.
