Fans of Canadian music from the late 1980s and early 1990s will remember The Grapes of Wrath, an iconic band whose 1960s-inspired harmonies were a staple on Canadian radio, MuchMusic, and MusiquePlus. Driven by songs such as "Peace of Mind," "Backward Town," "All the Things I Wasn't," and "You May Be Right," the group achieved significant success, earning one gold record and two platinum albums.

Formed in the late 1970s in the Hooper family basement, the band brought together Kevin Kane, Tom Hooper, and Chris Hooper. Between 1984 and 1992, they released an EP and four albums, moving from Nettwerk to an international deal with Capitol/EMI.

After disbanding in 1992, Kevin and Tom revived the project in the late 1990s with the album Field Trip (2000), and were joined again by Chris in 2010 for occasional collaborations on stage and in the studio.

Today, Kevin Kane and Tom Hooper perform in an intimate acoustic format, offering reimagined versions of their greatest hits, deeper cuts, and new material, enriched with stories and delivered in a warm, direct connection with the audience.
