Reading Lolita in Tehran is the film adaptation of the bestselling memoir by Azar Nafisi, translated into 32 languages. Inspired by a true story, it follows an English literature professor at the University of Tehran who, despite censorship and repression, secretly gathers a group of female students to read and discuss banned works.
