In Paris, amid the whirlwind of Fashion Week, Maxine, an American filmmaker, receives news that will change her life. She crosses paths with Ada, a young South Sudanese model who has left her country, and Angèle, a French makeup artist longing for a different life. Despite their very different backgrounds, an unexpected bond of solidarity forms between the three women. Beneath the glamorous surface, a quiet form of rebellion begins to emerge.
