Theatre Lac-Brome is pleased to partner with the Concours musical international de Montréal as part of Concours on the Road, an initiative that gives audiences the opportunity to discover one of the competition's semifinalists-a young international artist of exceptional talent-in the intimate setting of our theatre. The pianist's identity will be announced only during the week of the competition.
The world's finest young pianists will gather in Montréal from April 24 to May 5, 2027, for an exciting competition. The prestigious Concours musical international de Montréal showcases the leading talents of the next generation in classical music. Performing before an international jury of distinguished figures from the music world, these artists share their talent and give their careers new momentum.
Founded in 2001 by internationally renowned bass Joseph Rouleau and politician and philanthropist André Bourbeau, the competition has brought together outstanding musicians since its inaugural edition in 2002.
