Who is Marilou Garon?
Host of a classical music program on Radio VM, Marilou Garon has been giving public lectures and pre-concert talks for many years, notably for the Orchestre Métropolitain, the City of Montreal, and the Belles Heures at the Université de Montréal. She has also worked in communications for several cultural organizations, including the I Musici de Montréal Chamber Orchestra, the Quebec Symphony Orchestra, the Marlboro Music Festival, and the Hopkins Center for the Performing Arts. A pianist with degrees in musicology and education, Marilou Garon passionately advocates for access to classical music for all.
