The Chronicles of Bowser and Blue:
Musical comedy duo Rick Blue and George Bowser have been distracting Quebecers from their bizarre situation for more than 40 years! They started singing and playing together at the Irish Lancer Pub in 1978, after discovering, over several bottles of potent ale, that they were musically compatible. Spanning more than four decades, this show will include material from their early days in Montreal pubs like the Cock'n Bull and Bar Déjà Vu, from their performances Canada-wide in colleges and universities, from television and theatre shows like "Blokes" and "Troubadours Through Time", from their most recent recordings and shows including 2021's "The Four Anglos - Surviving the COVID Apocalypse", and beyond. Bowser & Blue are probably best-known for their tribute to Colorectal Surgeons around the world with the anthem "Working Where the Sun Don't Shine" and their satirical songs about Quebec language and politics. These are their songs and this is their story. It could be your story too!
