Lecture on Storytelling Writing by François Lavallée.
Rooted in tradition, François Lavallée firmly believes that our lives on the surface are anchored much deeper than we might think. His profession has taken him more than ninety times to France and Belgium, to the white desert of Nunavik and the Tuareg desert of Niger, to the Indigenous communities of Ecuador's volcanoes, to Réunion Island, Romania, and the suburbs of Paris.
He won the gold medal in the "Contes et Conteurs" competition at the 5th Jeux de la Francophonie (2005) in Niamey, Niger, with his tale Le recycleur de talents and was awarded the PRIX JOCELYN BÉRUBÉ in the fall of 2017 by the Festival de contes et récits de Trois-Pistoles.
